So the way Space AU works is that Danny is from a planet of 'halphas' which are an alien race that are very ghost-like, but the planet was destroyed by a 'disasteroid' leaving few survivors, Danny among them. The Fentons, crucial members of Earth's division of astronaut-slash-planet-defense-corps, adopt him, and he grows up on Earth, but has to disguise himself as human for lots of reasons I won't go into here.

Later he joins Earth's Space Corps himself, along with some other recruits his age. This is old and I was mostly going for outfit design with this so please excuse the terrible anatomy and stuff
